Praktica Luxmedia 5008 offers 5.2 MP and 8x optical zoom

I have to give this camera points for design. This one will get some looks. The question is, how does it perform?

Pentacon has introduced the Praktica Luxmedia 5008, the five megapixel follow-on to the Luxmedia 4008
